You can access our application DYL-HP here.
ME-3 activity was held in Antwerp, Belgium. In particular, the project output of youth workers was the introduction and presentation of the "Digital Young Life Health Platform" application called DYL-HP to the participants and people around them in real time. In particular, the user interfaces of the DYL-HP application were introduced and the concepts of how to use it and what the purpose is were kept in the foreground. Suggestions and opinions of the participants were taken. The activity did not consist of just one day but was carried out on different days. It was seen that the positive opinions of the participants and the surrounding people during the DYL-HP promotion once again revealed the importance of the project in the field of health. The fact that the DYL-HP/Digital Health Platform application will serve free of charge (non-profit) all over the world was the point that the participants valued most.Â
It is an important fact that participants and DYL-HP users can be from 7 to 70 without any age limit. It shows that the outputs of this project include and concern all people, which takes on an even more important role when it comes to health. For this reason, since the project output DYL-HP (Digital Young Life Health Platform) application concerns people of all age groups, increasing the number of participants has led to the belief that it will have a positive impact on the dissemination of the application. This is what happened throughout the process. It is a great tragedy, especially that only 2.3 Billion of the approximately 8 Billion people living in the world have health insurance and the other 5.7 Billion people do not have health insurance (A., Sabina et al., The 2020 Global Multidimensional Poverty Index (MPI), University of Oxford, 2020) . If we can connect people in need around the world with doctors who are experts in their fields with the DYL-HP health platform, which is the outcome of this project, and if we can build a digital bridge for them, this will be a great source of joy for us.
While local participants were from Belgium, foreign participants were interested students and association members invited from Germany and France. In addition, the activity content was not limited to just 2 days, and youth workers constantly provided promotional presentations and information about the project to student communities at universities in Antwerp and Brussels throughout the project. This project had a positive impact on disseminating its outputs.
